I’m the Chief Financial Officer for Woods Valldata and believe so passionately about the company that I became a shareholder in 2014. Every day I’m proud of the passion and dedication of each and every team in the business as they go above and beyond to deliver for our charity partners. 

I work with our charity partners on their raffles and lotteries. I love chatting to people and working with them from first contact all the way through to developing their programme with them. Affinity Lottery is especially rewarding as we often work with smaller charities who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to access a product like lottery.

I head up the Projects & Campaign Operations team who are responsible for the onboarding of our charity partners into the business. The team supports our partners throughout our relationship for campaign briefing, technical or business process change. We have a great breadth of knowledge and expertise because of the number of programmes we’ve worked on over time. What’s more, we’re great at listening to what is needed and then constructively challenging the status quo to find ways the supporter experience can be improved and processes can be streamlined.

I work closely with our charity and account directors to deliver actionable insights and data strategy recommendations alongside wider charity benchmarking and trend analysis. I’ve worked in the charity fundraising sector for over 15 years, and I’m driven by helping charities raise more, more effectively for their causes.

I work in the finance team as a management accountant. Along with the rest of the finance team, we ensure that all aspects of the internal finance function run smoothly and report back to department heads and the wider business on overall company performance. My favourite part of the job is working alongside a great team of people here at Woods Valldata. Whilst we do a serious job, we do have fun doing it!

As a key member of the client development team at Woods Valldata I’m responsible for developing new business opportunities by delivering tailor-made solutions and services to strengthen our new and existing partnerships. I’m always focused on client relationships and ensuring client objectives are met with the products and services offered.

I have been the Warehouse Manager at Woods Valldata since 2014. My team and I look after, store and manage all our client’s stock ensuring accurate stock levels are reported and maintained. It gives me great satisfaction knowing that the great work we do each day helps so many fantastic causes.   

No two days are the same for our team in inbound operations. With so many client campaigns processed each and every day we’re always seeing new and different things. Our team is the first to see a supporters’ response. We open, extract, sort and scan. My favourite part of the job is seeing the messages donors include and appreciate the depth of their support for the charity.

My role bridges the gap between account management and our systems. I make sure what our charity partners are looking to achieve can be realised within our infrastructure and work with them, our operational team and account managers to ensure seamless onboarding of projects.

As a member of the HR team, I have the opportunity to meet and greet people through recruitment to find the right individual for the right role. After I joined the company I found everyone to be passionate about what they do. What I enjoy about my role is being there to help and support.

We work together to process incoming data and to provide reports and data exports to clients.

My favourite part of my job is working with a broad range of software and custom processes that bring something new each day.”

I lead the Quality Assurance team for the data captured by Woods Valldata. My favourite part of the role is identifying issues, developing solutions and improving processes. I bring superior leadership skills and an eye for detail to ensure that all responses processed meet the highest standards of quality assurance.

What first started as a summer job turned out to be the beginning of a satisfying career at the best company in the sector. As I discovered the true scope and scale of the impact our clients have, I understood the need to always adapt and improve the services we provide as a business. I’m very grateful to be part of a team that always strives to overcome the challenges presented while at the same time offering guidance, support and opportunity to grow professionally.
